ABOUT THE MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM:

Black Girl Beauty School of Careers welcomes students who are strong, self-motivated and fast paced learners who desire to learn, grow, beautify and help others. The beauty business is a recession free industry that’s wide open, with unlimited opportunities!

A Massage is the rubbing or kneading of the body’s soft tissues. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. In European countries, a person professionally trained to give massages is traditionally known as a masseur or masseuse. In the United States, these individuals are often referred to as “massage therapists”. In some provinces of Canada, they are called “registered massage therapists.”

At Black Girl Beauty School of Careers, we strive to support students through every phase of their education, graduation, and career placement. We offer this course at the apprenticeship school. Our apprenticeship on-the-job training is an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals that’s been in the industry for over 3 years.
